Gemini Cove: Via Los Angeles August 2015 Editorial

Via Los Angeles Gemini Cove Campaign CoverThe Story Gemini Cove is an imaginary beach on the coast of Los Angeles. Beach bunnies arrive just before dusk, hoping to spot a mermaid or two. It is said that right before nightfall, mermaids swim up to the shore and their fins melt away into human legs. They come here to stare at the stars and read the constellations.

The Inspiration Our editorial campaign this month is entitled "Gemini Cove."  It features the newest brands on Via Los Angeles. We are so excited to add these new lines to our collection and introduce them to the world. Our creative team was inspired by Infinite Youth LA's romantic cuts and colors as well as Eridanus and Cassiopeia's whimsical moon and star shaped earrings and necklaces. To us, these elements translated into a visual representation of the infinite nature of the sky and the unexplored ocean. The sky and ocean play a huge role in LA culture. We are fascinated by astrology, we are fascinated by the sea. We talk about our horoscopes and wear our hair like mermaids.
